Ravenswood Homestead’s fountain space is normally utilized as a photo location, but we put a different spin on it for this shoot – an enchanting blend of natural beauty and contemporary flair for a modern cocktail reception.
Lucky for us, Justin and Jim & Directors Edge were there and ready to capture every moment on Photo and film respectively, and Knot Music provided us with the tunes in acoustic and DJ form.
What a vibe.
The catch phrase was ‘Slay’, and that’s exactly what model Mercedes did in her custom made ‘Veronica’ gown by local designer Hayley Maree Bridal, featuring crystals, 3d flora lace, a classy front split and tulle hem. With bridal take on a classic hairstyle, Mercedes’ a long hair whisked into a ponytail by the legends at Hair and Halo Studio. Paired with the Glamour and Co for a full glam makeup look with glowing skin and a warm smokey eye, add a bouquet from the Judah Rose Queen and Mercedes’ look was complete.
Mercedes arrived in style in the Midnight Lux Tesla, one of the only luxury transport options in Bendigo, before a first look with her hubby to be Daniel and moving into the reception space. But not before a quick cocktail from the Nosh + Bevvy caravan bar!
The 99 Luft Events ladies outdid themselves when it came to the styling of the space, from their wine barrel cocktail tables, dedicated space for leaving fun audio messages for the couple courtesy of Hear Me Out Audio. Don’t forget the dessert bar, which had delicious cookies provided by Crumb and Dough, and fan favourite Bendigo Brittle.
We also show you how you can achieve this outdoor cocktail vibe with a sit down theme, where the Judah Rose Florals brought to life all the sentiment, tradition and frivolity entwined with Autumn Weddings. A celebration of love and life.
Be inspired to utilise your space and create a fun, outdoor reception, unique to your personality.
