Handpicked is a studio-based sustainable florist in the creative hub of The Mill, on Dja Dja Wurrung Country, Castlemaine. Ali (she/her) has over 20 years’ experience in the floral industry, working in London, Melbourne and the North Central Victorian area. Her cohesive and compelling designs celebrate the individual beauty of each floral stem, while celebrating the beautiful union between her clients. As an ally to her LGBTQIA+ and disabled friends, Ali intentionally provides a safe environment where everyone is welcome.

Ali spends time with every couple, to understand their unique story and how best to express it through their wedding flowers. Handpicked can design and supply all wedding floral items, such as bouquets, buttonholes, ceremony displays (including plinth, frame and vessel hire), cocktail hour styling, table styling (including candles), hanging installations, and bar or other floral arrangements. As a nature loving sustainable florist, Handpicked relies on the seasons to guide the perfect ingredients for each individual wedding. Thus creating unique floral designs that will spark fond memories for couples, as each anniversary coincides with the seasonal sights and smells of the florals that were used in their wedding.
