Beth + Jesse

13/11/2021

The path to our wedding was stressful and full of the unknown. Only weeks out from our original wedding date covid restrictions changed and made it impossible to have our wedding. I have also just found out I was pregnant and knew that if we delayed the wedding to long it would make thing very complicated. We were so lucky that Willow and Stone had a date become available just 4 weeks after our original date. Because of the change of date we lost our photographer, videographer and band. Lucky for us Georgia our celebrant pointed us towards culture hitch and vendors that might have been available.

Fast forward to our wedding day. Our day was honestly perfect, it was filled with family, friends, laughter and so much love. Jesse and I always wanted a relaxed and chilled wedding day and our day didn’t disappoint. Our wedding was held at Willow and Stone Ballarat which provided the perfect backdrop for our day. Our ceremony was filled with everyone we loved and additionally to our bridal party we also had my 3 nephews (all under 7) and my 2 nieces (both under 6). Married by Georgia was truely the perfect person to marry Jesse and I and matched our personalities perfect!!

Sarah-Jane VR photography, Director Edge and country mile photography captured all of the moments from our wedding perfectly. They were relaxed and chilled and able to join in with the banter of our bridal party and made us all feel so comfortable. To finish off our special day we celebrate as one big happy family. We had a food van and ice cream truck and so much love and laughter!! Then to top everything off a gender reveal to find out we are having a baby boy!

How did they meet?

Jesse and I meet back in high school. I was best friends with his cousin and I decided to go to hers sisters birthday party. It was at this party I meet Jesse for the first time and we were inseparable from that moment on. That was over 9 and a half years ago

The proposal story.

In the middle of the first Covid lockdown Jesse decided to take a day trip to get out of the house. After driving for a while and noticing Jesse was pretty stress we arrived at Trentham waterfall (one of the first places we visited together). The adventure didn’t stop there. After walking with our puppy down the side of the waterfall. We set up a camera to take a lovely family pic. However, by the time I turned around Jesse was on one knee asking me to marry him!!!

Fav part of the day?

This is probably the hardest question to answer. However, as an addition to the day we had a gender reveal and got to find out that we were having a baby boy!

Advice for couples planning their wedding.

Try and not stress about the little things. Because on the day the only thing that is important is celebrating the love that you and your husband share!

How did Culture Hitch help?

Only weeks before our wedding we had to postpone due to covid. Married by Georgia told us about Culture Hitch and we were able to use it to find a photographer and videographer to capture our magical day.

Tell us about your vendors!

We honestly couldn’t have asked for a better group of vendors. They were the perfect fit for our special day. They were all relaxed, chilled and only added to making our day so perfect!
