Zoe and Jayden got engaged after 5 years together in Lorne when Zoe returned from volunteering in the Philippines. They decided on the 12th of April date as it was Zoe’s maternal grandparents wedding anniversary. This set the scene for a love filled, real family affair with Zoe’s mum giving her away and her sister as the Maid of Honour. Jayden’s sisters all gave readings during the ceremony and Zoe’s cousin Carli was the wedding planner and MC.
All the details throughout the day reflected the gorgeous family and friends that Zoe and Jayden have, from their family friends driving the cars, to handing out the rose petal confetti, to the favours being made by Zoe’s mum, and the reception flowers by a family friend, to the epic dance floor the whole night and finally the joyful sparkler exit.
Zoe and Jayden wanted it to be a big celebration of fun, laughter and love with those closest to them and Chateau Dore was the perfect location. Married in the garden with drinks on the lawn followed by their reception in the big stone hall glittering with candles. The ceremony was full of emotions and watched over by pictures of their grandparents wedding photos. Yet another beautiful reminder of the strong family connections.
Zoe’s dress was a full tule skirt with lace bodice from Bells and Bows Bridal in Eaglehawk, and she was supported by her bridesmaids in rich moody red dresses and nude shoes. They carried bouquets of pink and white flowers, created by Grace Events and Artistry, subtly gorgeous against the autumn backdrop of Chateau Dore’s garden.
Chateau Dore’s grounds were magic in the golden autumn light, perfect for some photographs, captured by Jess White Photography. Zoe and Jayden enjoyed a drink in the garden with their bridal party and danced in the sunset before heading into the reception.
Mr and Mrs Sheean were showered in love when they entered their reception, and the night was filled with heartfelt speeches, a hotly contested bouquet toss, and a magic bridal dance before the guests joined them on the dance floor to party the night away with Leigh Turner Entertainment.
