Built in 1877, MacKenzie Quarters is situated right in the heart of Bendigo, and is a truly beautiful and unique historic old school building.

Look up to see the detailed original wooden ceilings, look through the original arched windows and dance the night away on the original solid blackwood floors! Your vows could be exchanged on site with us, at the Cathedral or even in Rosalind Park as everything is just a few minutes stroll away!

MacKenzie Quarters offers a variety of wedding packages to match your budget and style. From formal 3 course dinners to roaming food platters and speciality food stations we cater to your vision. Offering two very distinct spaces we can accommodate groups from 60 – 175 and our experienced team will work with you to realise your dream wedding with minimal effort and maximum impact.

Accommodation right next door:

MacKenzie Quarters also offers beautiful accommodation right next door! The Residence of MacKenzie Quarters is a grand building constructed in 1877 and recently refurbished with all the modern conveniences! It has 5 bedrooms (3 with queen beds & 2 with two single beds) which means the entire bridal party could stay right next door or perhaps the families of the bride or groom! Having friends or relatives staying at The Residence also provides for the perfect destination for a recovery breakfast and wedding debrief the morning after!
